Ambra Tescione started in social work — sitting with families through crisis, navigating systems that weren’t built for the people relying on them. Over a decade in direct community services, at organizations like Vecova and SCOPE Society of Alberta, she saw the same pattern again and again: good programs struggling not because the work wasn’t sound, but because the organizations behind them lacked the strategic and operational support to sustain it.
That’s what sent her back to school for an Executive MBA — not to leave frontline work behind, but to be able to speak both languages fluently: the language of the people being served, and the language of the boards, funders, and executives making the decisions that shape their care.
Ambra founded it to give purpose-driven organizations a consultant who has actually done the frontline work — across two countries and two very different systems of care — not just studied it.
